The words and phrases below contain either an /e/ or an /ae/ sound. It might help you if you copy the sentences to your Pronunciation Portfolio, so that you can highlight the two different sounds with two different colours. By paying attention to the movement of your jaw, practise saying the words and phrases until you are ready to record yourself.
Then, make a recording and listen back for improvement.
