Exercise 6.8
Do this activity together with a classmate.
First, imagine you won an award you would really like to have.
Then, individually prepare a one-minute speech in which you talk about who you would like to thank for the support they have given you. Only write down key words, so no full sentences.
One of you will start delivering his or her thank-you speech. The other will listen whether the student who is talking produces all /th/ sounds correctly and will write down any words in which a mistake is made. Once the first person has finished his or her speech, switch roles.

At the end of both your speeches, see who has made the fewest number of mistakes in producing /th/ sounds. He or she should wins the award for ‘best /th/ speech’, in that case. Congratulations!
