Listen to recording 7b and check the predictions you had made with your classmate concerning where aspiration would be used and where it would not be used. Correct any mistakes in your predictions. Then, listen to the recording again and imitate where you hear aspiration and where you do not hear it. Practise with the entire text until you are ready to record yourself. Make a recording of yourself reading out the article and play your recording to a classmate. Also listen to your classmate’s recording and give each other feedback on your uses of aspiration.
